Lots of Love Blog Hop!!! Come and Join the FUN!!

Hi everyone and welcome to the Lots of Love Blog Hop! This hop will be showcasing 14 different designers and their love inspired projects. If you are coming from Norma at PinkBlingCrafter your right on track.  If you are just visiting and would like to join the fun hop on over to Courtney at Krafty Keekerz. We hope you have a great time hopping along and feel some love inspiration this Valentine's weekend!

For those of you that don't know, I am expecting a little girl any day now. For my project I made a Valentine's Day Scrapbook page for her. Let's hope that she will be here by then. So onto my project.......

This layout is made with Stampin' Up paper. The backdrop is blushing bride pattern designer paper. I also used blushing bride, perfect plum, bravo burgundy, sahara sand, early espresso, and pear pizzaz cardstock on this layout. "The greatest gift of" was cut on early espresso cardstock using a Sizzlits Decorative Strip Die called Naturally Serif, which I rolled through my Big Shot. I cut "LOVE", "Valentines 2011", and "Pasiley Grace" using my gypsy with the Alphalicious Cricut cartridge. "LOVE" was cut at 1 1/2 and the other two were cut at 1 1/4. The top picture box is cut at 4 1/2 by 6 1/2. The sahara sand box was cut at 5 by 5 1/2. I then punched the edges of this box with EK Success Scalloped Scallop border punch. Then I cut the perfect plum stamped piece at 3 3/4 by 4 1/2. To make the heart stamps on there I used a Stampin Up Letter Plate called Heart Pressed. I took an ink pad and inked the plate then I sat my paper down on it and with the Multipurpose Platform, and Standard Cutting Pad, I rolled it all through my Big Shot and it embossed and stamped the cardstock. The hearts were cut using the Twinkle Toes Cricut Cartridge at 3 1/2. I then embossed the "Paisley Grace" with Sizzix Texture Plates Kit #4. Its a heart plate.
The corners of the picture boxes are punched with an EK Success corner punch. I added a 2 inch stirp of per pizzaz designer cardstock at the bottom. I know that seems like a lot, but this was a really easy layout to make, and I really like how it turned out. Let me know if you have any questions.

Lots and Lots to Share

So I have kind of slacked on getting my cards up to share with you all. I have 4 cards that I am posting tonight. Its been at least a few days since I have made these cards, so I might not have the whole recipe for each card. If you have any questions about a certain card though, feel free to contact me and I will look up my recipes.

Card #1
This card is a Thank You card that I made for a friend of ours that works with my husband and sent home some extra coupons with him. I have started doing coupons for 2011, so that we can try to save some money with the new baby being here any day now. This card was cut using "Just Because Cards" at 5 inches. The paper is all from Stampin up! I cut this adorable snail with the Create a Critter cartridge at 3 inches. I used an edge punch from Martha Stewart. I added some ribbon and I Rock bling to the card as well as Stickles. Hope you enjoyed the card.

Card #2

I made this adorable Birthday card using "Just Because Cards", and cut the card at 5 1/2 inches. All of this cardstock is from Stampin up!. I cut this cute flowers with Sugar and Spice cartridge (I Think**). I took the main the center paper of the flowers and embossed them with a cuttlebug folder to add some texture. I then added stickles to make the card shine.

Card #3

This Birthday card is an A2 card. The plain cardstock is from Stampin Up! and the patterned paper is some extra that I had laying around. I embossed the pattern paper with a cuttlebug embossing folder. Each of the cut outs were cut from the Twinkle Toes cartridge. The stamps are both from clear stamp packs that I bought at Michael's. I colored in the candles with some sparkle gel pens and added ribbon and bling to make the card a little extra special.

Card #4

I really love how this Birthday card turned out. This also is an A2 sized card. The cardstock is from Stampin Up! and the patterned paper is just something that I had. I used a Martha Stewart edge punch on the pink cardstock. The cut outs were once again cut with Twinkle Toes cartridge (I love the designs on this cartridge). The stamps came from Michael's. I colored in the cake with sparkle gel pins. I added some brads and some bling to the card. The white ribbon on the card is from Joann Fabrics and the brown Happy Birthday ribbon is from my Aunt's collection.

Well I hope you all enjoyed my cards and I hope to be better at putting them up as soon as I make them. Like I said before I am pregnant right now and my baby is due in like 3 more weeks, so we expect her anytime. I will be kind of busy over the next few weeks, but I plan on still making time for my crafting.

A Fun and Easy Valentines Card

The card is made using Stampin' Up cardstock. I am unsure where the patterned paper is from. I have had it for quite sometime now. The paper is cut using the Create a Critter Cricut Cartridge and the heart is cut from the Twinkle Toes Cricut Lite Cartridge. I believe the ribbon is from Michael's. I added some Stickles and bling to make the card shine. Hope you like this quick and easy card. Please let me know if you have any questions. Hope everyone has a great weekend. Thanks!

The Pink Stamper DT Entry

Hello, hope everyone is having a great week. This is the card I made for The Pink Stamper Design Team. I am really hoping to get picked for the team. I am a huge Pink Stamper fan and I would really hope to have the chance to share my designs with many more people..

For this card I used my new favorite cartridge Twinkle Toes Lite Cartridge to cut the dancing poodle. The colored paper is by Stampin' Up and the patterned paper is from DCWV and the Paper Studio. The "Happy Birthday" stamp comes from My Pink Stamper set Family and Friends. The ribbon is from Michaels and I added some bling to make the card shine.

I made this card for my design team entry, but I plan to send it to my niece for her birthday. I know that she will really love the colors chosen and the poodle. Good luck to everyone that has entered the challenge for the design team. I have seen a lot of great designs out there.
